NHS Merton Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has confirmed two new clinical leaders for the borough today (Monday, 10 February 2020).
From 1 April 2020 Dr Vasa Gnanapragasam, GP at Stonecot Surgery, will take on the role of Borough Committee Chair for Merton. Dr Karen Worthington, GP at Central Medical Centre will be Deputy Chair.
The Merton Borough Committee will be the local arm of the new South West London (SWL) CCG when the Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) are formally merged.
The announcement follows news last year that the current Merton CCG Chair, Dr Andrew Murray, will be moving on from the Merton clinical leadership role after being elected as the Chair for the SWL CCG.
Further details on the new organisation will be published in due course.
If you have any questions, would like further information about the changes or would like someone from the CCG to come and talk to your organisation about these changes, please do not hesitate to contact us.
